Traditional Hwando with Walnut Wood

 

This hwando sword was done with some minor variations, namely using walnut wood for scabbard and leather handle wrap with blackened stingray skin core to improve the handle grip. The customer requested that the handle wrap is tied to the point where the handle endcap is present that resulted in a somewhat interesting hybrid handle shape.
